Reasons for the wear of CNC turret punch die

2021-12-29

The main components of CNC turret punching machine are roughly divided into: control system, electrical system, stamping body, roulette assembly, CNC feeding system, feeding mechanism device, sheet metal parts and so on.

The mold of the CNC turret punch will wear out during use, so what is the main reason for the wear of the CNC turret punch? Is there any way to deal with it?

In fact, wear and tear is a normal phenomenon. As long as it is used, wear and tear will appear. The main reasons for this problem are as follows:

①The lack of machine tool turret design or machining accuracy is mainly due to the poor alignment of the mold mounting seat of the upper and lower turntables.

②The design or machining accuracy of the mold cannot meet the requirements.

③The precision of the guide bush of the mold punch is not enough.

④The mold gap selection is inappropriate.

⑤The mold mounting seat or mold guide sleeve is not neutral due to long-term wear and tear.

In order to prevent inconsistent mold wear:

①Regularly use the centering mandrel to check and adjust the neutrality of the machine tool turret and mounting seat.

②Replace the mold guide sleeve in time and choose the convex and concave with suitable clearance to cover the guide post. The limiting column is a column-shaped part that limits the smaller closing height of the die. The positioning plate is a part that guarantees that the process parts have a constant position in the mold. They are called positioning pins or positioning plates due to their different shapes.
